Managing Paradigms to Create Work-Life Synergies (WLS) in Executive Counseling: A Hermeneutic and Individual Phenomenological Approach

2012 Thesis/Dissertation

Abstract

Corporate abuse, job stress, and related health complaints and suicides are increasing worldwide. Job stress occurs when the requirements of the job do not match the capabilities, resources, or growth needs of employees, creating unsound paradigms. According to ILO Convention 142 (1975), vocational training contributes to decent work and is educationally a formative element in people’s lives and, through them, of society at large.
